Perform racking and masking duties using paper/tape, or liquid masking techniques to meet production requirements under the direct supervision of the Masking Supervisor, Masking Lead, or a qualified trainer.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Read and understand work order requirements.
Identify parts with printed and/or electronic pictures.
Apply paper/tape masking to production parts prior to chemical process and organic coating.
Apply liquid masking to production parts prior to chemical processing (Pre-Penetrant Etch and Anodize).
Pull plugs thru close-tolerance features prior to chemical processing (Pre-Penetrant Etch and Anodize).
Perform basic racking for prime and paint.
Unmask production parts, as needed, via paper/tape, liquid, or pull plugs.
Prepare parts for prime and paint operations by solvent cleaning, sanding, and taping.
Perform removal of tape residue during the paint prep operations.
Operate all in-house scales to verify quantities
Other Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Keep masking areas clean and organized per company Ultraclean/6S requirements.
Adhere to all safety requirements, and use all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Handles customer-supplied product with care.
Maintain and reinforce LMI's quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Available to work overtime when required, including weekends.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Masking Supervisor.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
