Penetrant Inspector 1

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Be documented as a trainee and be actively participating in a training program for the stated Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technique/method for a limited and specified period of time.
Obtain experience on the job training (400 hours) under the direct observation of a Level II in the same technique/method.
This individual will not make, accept or reject decisions, will not conduct tests independently, and will not perform any other NDT functions independently.
Learn to interpret in-house work order instructions.
Learn to access and document data within the LMI Work Order Tracking System within the 400 hours of training..
Learn to access and locate the necessary documents on the SharePoint site with on the job training and documented in the employee training database.
Learn to interpret applicable specifications both customer imposed and in-house
Other Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Keep the penetrant area clean and organized will be trained in the Ultra Clean process.
Observe safety requirements and use all safety equipment when necessary.
Must be available to work overtime when required (including weekends).
Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Supervisor
Handles customer supplied product with care.
Works at LMI's quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations
Practices LMI's behaviors. Adheres to protocol for quality, on time delivery, and safety
Interacts professionally with co-workers and vendors: understands internal customers: strives to maintain good relations with others.
May assist in other areas or perform other duties as reqiured by business demands.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or High School Equivalency required.
Must have ability to read and comprehend American English.
A minimum of four hundred (400) hours for certification to Level II without prior Level II certification.
Average reading skills with capability of comprehending and retaining information required.
Must be available to work overtime when required (including weekends).
Ability to learn quickly and appy knowledge in fast paced enviroment.
Must have adequate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel).
Must have ability to follow oral and/ or written directions.
Must exhibit attention to detail.
Must have time management skills.
Must exhibit ethiccal behavior at all time.
Must exhibit professionalism in dealing with others.
Must have organizational skills.
Must be reliabile.

Physical Requirements:
This position will require an employee to work in both a factory and office environment. The site will contain mobility barriers with uneven ground level and obstructed pathways. Climatic and environmental conditions at the job site will be indoor/outdoor climate with various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, etc. The work environment characteristics described above are representative of what an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
Must have ability to bend, twist and stretch arms above head and walk or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 40 pounds safely.
Must be able to push and pull heavy racks.
Must have sufficient hand/eye coordination.
Must have ability to safely move large parts on or off rolling racks as necessary.
Must have ability to perform work in a Black Light Room.
Must have ability to work in a wet environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
